Shagmie and Natalie playing a game with the kids at club

This was a girls night out. We had a ton of fun bonding! This is me with Illana and Stacey (from Left to Right). Stacey is getting married in December! We can't wait for for the big day! This is Natalie and Danielle at our girls night out!

This is Joshua. He is 4 going on 40. When we tell the story to the kids we try and use the younger ones so they are not disruptive. This is them holding the pictures for the story so everyone else can see them.

This is me, Laura and Jessica doing a jumping photo at St.James beach in front of the bath houses. It’s just cool.

This is me, Carla and Christina at our bonding session with the LSE’s

These are four of the girls in the choir in Red Hill. LOADS of personality!

At the top of Cape Point it is crazy windy!

This is is Basil. He is 14 and lives in Capricorn. He is extremely gifted in music. He sings on the worship team at church and I am giving him voice lessons right now. He has written some music that we are looking to record soon!

Holiday Club in Overcome. One of the churches in the community let us use their building.

Kids at Overcome container listening to Bible story

This is Sisieko. He is 6 and way too cute for his own good! He has this infectious smile and such bright eyes! We love him in Overcome!

This is Amy (top) and Zonia on the bottom right. Amy is shy but speaks English very well. Zonia is one of Pastor Severo’s girls. They are both 6. These are both from December Holiday club.

On top is Lisakanya and Yolisa. Both are 10. Both love to sing. They are the best of friends. I have been working with them in Red Hill for the past couple of months. On the bottom is Nicole, Laura and myself at the airport sending Laura home. :( It is always sad when we have to make that drive to the airport.

On the top is Pastor Severo. And this is at his graduation from the South African Bible Institute! There were so many there to support him! We shuttled as many youth as we could to be there. It was quite an experience for them. On the bottom is a shot from our everyday kids club in Overcome. The white container is our building.

On top is Shagmie in Capricorn during holiday club telling the story of Christmas. The whole goal for us for the week was that the kids would know the true meaning of Christmas. On the bottom are four fantastic women who work in Overcome. Jessica, Kay-lee, Melissa and Megan (from left to right). I just love them!

    Kendra,

Just want to tell you that I finally took a minute to check out your blog and I was absolutely delighted! Smile.

It was great to learn your fun facts. I never knew you were left-handed. Did your know Jon Grindell is too? And Dennis Knisley? It seems there are several others, but I’m brain dead right now. Also, I want to comment on the fact that your favorite color is “RED”. I never knew any one who liked Red as a favorite color. So do you know if that means anything? (Don’t worry about answering!)

It is neat seeing how God is using your education to serve Him over there. Oh. And I also liked how you drew a line from here to where Cape Town, South Africa is. My geography isn’t the best. You seem to write just like you were talking. I enjoyed reading your news.

I’m glad we can be a small part of your journey this coming year. God be with you and bless you. I’ll stay in touch as you keep us posted.

Oh? Just thought of some news. You remember Jessie Wiilson? She and Jana were real close once. Well, the Wilsons and us Fishers are still in touch and they called to tell us Jessie is getitng married December 13th. I don’t know who the guy is, but it’s someone she met where they live now. (Mississippi).

And, Sara & Jared Raby are expecting twins!!! March 2010. Isn’t that cool?
Jared’s a twin and now he’s gonna be a daddy of twins.

Well, as I said, I’m sorta brain dead. Tired. So bye and as I said – God be with you.
